In our Ephesians series, we now focus our attention on Marriage, Family, Christ, and the Church. God has a beautiful plan for marriage and family and it is crucially important that we come to know what that plan is. In God’s Word, we see an incredible parallel in the marriage relationship between a husband and a wife to the relationship between Christ our bridegroom, and His Bride, the church.
We will see that Gospel at its core is all about submission, and even in positions of the authority in the home, God calls us to obedience and submission. Good godly authority is a gift from God and when a society is at war with God’s ordained plan of marriage and the family, it is also at war with God Himself and His Church.
