We begin a new sermon series from the book of Ecclesiastes. In this message, we focus on all of the vanities of human pursuits and achievements. God gave Solomon the kind of wisdom that revealed the results of worldly pleasure, worldly gain, and worldly prestige. His conclusion was Vanity of Vanities. So many people in this world ask the question: what is the meaning of life? It is vitally important that we seek our Creator to truly discover the meaning of life. Vanity is the key word in this book, and vanity is all about the futile emptiness of trying to be happy and fulfilled apart from Almighty God. There is truth, meaning, and purpose through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
