On this special Dedication Sunday of our new sanctuary, we begin by recognizing those who have helped us with our building project, and then we go into God's Word about how a physical building is not the church. We are the church, believers in Christ make up the church, and we need to come alive in Christ. We cannot be a dead church or sleeping church. We must fix our eyes on Jesus and not allow the enemy to lead us into a spiritual daze. We are called to be sober and vigilant when it comes to the works of darkness.
