As we have just entered into a new year, the title of the message for this Sunday morning is The Covenant of Salt. In this message, we will look at different places in Scripture and see how both the word salt and the phrase the covenant of salt are used. Salt has always been looked at historically as a very valuable commodity. As we understand why, we will begin to see why Jesus called His followers the salt of the earth.
