The topic of predestination has been debated among Christians for the last 2000 years. As we are going through the book of Romans, there is no question that we see the Power and Providence of God working in the lives of people throughout the history of mankind. It is God who sees us and knows us before the foundations of the world. He predestines, calls, justifies, and glorifies those He has chosen. This does not mean that we do not choose to come to Christ. We do choose Christ, but we cannot deny the working of the Holy Spirit leading up to that choice.
