After God rebukes the Irresponsible leaders of Israel, He then says how He will seek out the sheep of Israel and feed them. We come to understand that Jesus Christ is our Messiah, Shepherd, Lord, and God who has come through the physical line of David. Our wonderful Shepherd lays His life down for His sheep and is the One who David calls Lord in Psalm 110:1.
